Hi everyone
Wonder if anyone has any recommendations? My father in law is a farmer with hands like shovels. He and the mum-in-law like to take snaps, but they are certainly not serious photographers. For some reason he's got it fixed in his mind that he wants to buy a digital camera. I don't know why, but he's the sort of guy who's hard to dissuade and I want to at least head him off at the pass and recommend something he can actually use (before he buys something useless!) They are both pretty old with no computer, so I can only presume they'll take the camera down to Jessops or somewhere similar and get the pics printed off.
Anyway, as I say, the old man has huge hands, so he may find small (and close together) buttons fiddly. They are 'happy snappers'
so nothing sophisticated required. Does anyone have any bright ideas for a basic digital P&S, with few, but large (well-spaced?) buttons, etc? I'd really welcome any ideas, because I'm struggling!
Ian
