Digital photography courses distance learning HELP

I am really keen to start a digital photography course, there are so many to choose from.

Has anyone completed the school of photographic imaging foundations course

or the NCFE level 3 in photography (Wwhich you actually get a qualification for).

Any advice would be gratefully accepted, i am planning on AS level in photography in September but itching to get my teeth into something now
