Digital Photo Mag - Free Tripod........?

I've previously spoken to Digital Photo regarding the same issue but with a bag as free gift. Their reply was "We only honour the gift when the order is placed through us and not a third party"

ahhhh ok...... kick em in the nuts instead lol

guys it may take a good several weeks to arrive they dont always send it out asap incase you cancel the subscription

be paitent it will arrive

I am patient...but over 6 weeks is ridiculous....! Doesn't give you any faith in the company/magazine and I certainly wouldn't use them again or recommend them to anyone else.....so how's that good for future business?

Cheers

Not sure what Forum to put this in really?

Anyone else set up a subscription from Digital Photo mag through "Great Magazines UK" and not received their 'free' travel tripod yet? Been over 6 weeks now and still no sign of it. I've emailed them but no answer yet. :shake:

Cheers, Dougie

I have had that happen with subs. The excuse eventually obtained was "limited stock". Con job, I think.

There was a similiar issue with the 5 in 1 reflectors they were giving away with subscriptions last year. They couldn't keep up with demand, but eventually I did get the reflector. If I remember they also sent a letter apologising for the delay. Here is their customer services n.o if you want to chase them up 0845 601 1356.

Thanks for the number David

Unfortunately I have also been on the receiving end of lost or forgotten gifts. I subscribed for a magazine about a year ago where I was supposed to get a memory card and cleaning kit. About 2 months later it hadn't arrived so rang them up and they said it must have got lost, apologised and resent the gift along with a Photoshop book and another book as an apology so I suppose it was worth the call.
