GF110mm F5.6 Tilt Shift £3,499 (available November)

Next Year

Ok. I’m saving hard. Looking at what I might trade. GFX100Sii and GF55f1.7 would be awesome. Neeed to be convinced about AF speed and Subject recognition. Not yet watched any reviews..

No S in the GFX100 II !!!!

At that combined price you'd have to check in on the Hasselblad options as well

Must admit the GF55mm has me interested ..........

That lens would be compulsory for me…if I had any GFX..

Trade everything and concentrate on one system.

As you know Pete. One of my favourite things to shoot are my dogs running. So far the Olympus is top dog at that. (Pun intended)
Just means I’ll probably never get around to having only one system.

If the AF is as good as the XH2-S you could manage I’m sure.

I think two systems is the right place to be, the posh one and a lightweight one in my case its the GFX (posh) and X100F (lightweight) - though having used my original X100 quite a bit in the last week or so, I'm giving serious thought to leaving X-Trans behind, and replacing the lightweight (compact) option with your favoured brand - an upcoming holiday where I would prefer a lightweight option may get the moths in action sooner than anticipated!

I saw the Fuji thing for the GFX 100s II but I just can't get excited about it  :$ if I was into video then maybe but other than that no.

The lens look interesting especially the tilt / shift ones, but I would probably never buy one.

Ok I’ve got the perfect solution….

I sell my Q3 to one of the two people that keep offering me £6k because they’re fed up with waiting for one.

Trev sells you his Q2 because it’s what he does, sells stuff.

Trev buys a GFX100 II because it’s what he does, buys stuff

Trev sells me the GFX 100II in a few weeks for £4K, because it’s what he does, sells stuff.

What’s not to like ?

Does @trevorbray offer credit terms :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Big EVF improvement in the GFX100ii - probably "the" one to get as its only £2k more than the S.
I will have a play next time i'm in London at the Fuji HOP but I really don't want to go that large or disappear down the huge bag of gear rabbit hole again.

Its the same sensor so IQ will/should be the same - sounds like the IBIS may have improved though along with teh AF speed.
Thanks David. Pretty much what I expected.

Well all this talk of new cameras, I finally got a MF camera.

Ooooo what? Goes the crowd

A Fujifilm GFX?
No
A Hasselblad X system?
No
A Pentax 645 D or Z ?
No
A Phase system?
No

I got, in the post at the moment a Hasselblad H3DII-39.

Yes, yes I know it’s a bit of old tat but I do like older digital machines and the RAW files I can open and process in Affinity.

Get back in the game then !?!?!?
Just bought a new house, finances aren't quite what they were. When they are though....

Lower base ISO, I suspect marginal improvements there.

GFX owners that use the Tilt EVF. How does it work in portrait mode ?

And you get a bigger sensor than the current mainstream crop of MF digital cameras - looking forward to see some imgaes :)

@trevorbray is on the cusp isn't he, staring into the abyss, his wallet is begging for mercy and at least one of his Leica, Sony or OM cameras is fearing rejection coming :ROFLMAO:

This is a trial, I am on a laptop that is not really setup for photo stuff and I am experimenting with Hasselblads Phocus software.

This is from Parys Mountain in Anglesey and is a 10stop filter on the front of the camera, yes manual focus, trying to get back to using hyper focal, which not sure i have got right but anyway, first attempt.

Oh and yes there are lots of dust bunnies on this sensor, so something I will have to chase off later :)
Not sure what this image is supposed to demonstrate tbh. Its completely out of focus. What am I missing? Serious question.

Hmmmm not sure it is completely out of focus but yeah it could be better I agree, as mention this was just a trail image and don’t think I got the hyper focal right.
Anyway I’ve binned it, I should have done better, teach me to edit on a machine not used to.

Is anyone here using the GF45m and cares to share some examples please?

I sold my 63mm ready to pick up the new 55mm but got offered a 45mm at too good a price to turn down so I will shoot it over winter and hopefully pick up the 55mm in the new year.
