Good spot Mij.
Looking at the specs of what it offers I dont think that digicIII is intended as a replacement for Cannon DSLR's. I guess there is a digicIV on the way for that....?

Doesn't the Canon 400d use digic3, the thinking is that all the new Canon's will have it in next year.

Edit... nope the 400d doesn't have digic3
