Different mono challenge idea

Yes I liked Neopan 400 when I used it, immediately after using Delta 400, which I really didn't like. See http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=5313828&postcount=32... But it's harder to get hold of, I think.

Never tried Delta 400 - I know it's meant to be Ilford's equivalent of T-Max (a t-grain film), but after using HP5+ once and thinking it was horrid, I was a bit put off by it.

Buy a couple of rolls of each. You'll probably like both, to be honest.

T-Max was initially designed for scanning, Tri-X for enlarging.
Never used T-Max so cannot comment on differences.
FC2 where do you find T-Max cheaper ? £3.69 seems to be the same for
both in 35mm anyway.

I tend to think medium format. I always seem to see Tri-X (in both formats) at around £4+.

T-Max 400 (in 120) for a pro-pack has been £15 on Amazon UK for a long time, although the cheapest I see now is £15.79 delivered (£3.16 a roll): http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000JLK5UU/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

Interested to know where you see £3.69 for a roll of Tri-X? I was looking for some 35mm and Silverprint has T-Max 400 35mm for £3.79.

Not sure of 120 prices bought several bricks back in January, haven't
needed to look for anymore yet. Will keep Amazon in mind though.

Cheers. If you have to mail order anyway, that's pretty competitive, although I like to save on delivery by visiting places such as Silverprint (but that's only because I physically can).
