Right, so I have 3 x 120 films I'd like to develop in ID-11 in the same Multireel 5 tank, but want to know if it's possible... 2 of them are Pan F 50 and 1 of them is a Delta 400. According to the massive dev chart Pan F 50 should be dev'd in a 1+3 ratio for 15 minutes. Delta 400 should be dev'd in the same ratio for about 18.5 minutes.

So, is there some way to dev them together in the same tank? I'm thinking I could put the Delta 400 at the bottom and remove the 2 x Pan F 50's after 15 minutes and keep them to one side while dev'ing the Delta 400 for a further 3.5 minutes. Once done, fix and rinse them all together... the problem I see with this is stopping the dev'ing of the Pan F 50 rolls while the Delta is busy dev'ing. I could do this if I had an extra tank to take 2 spirals, but I only have the one Multireel 5 tank :bang:

Any help would be appreciated...

I wouldn't even bother trying dude. All sorts of trauma on the horizon.

Why cant you dev them separately anyway?

yep. Unless you're in total darkness.

If you're short on dev then I'd just use it at stock and re-use it for the 3rd film adding 10% onto the dev time.

Thanks guys. I'm certainly not short on dev - just thought I'd try killing three birds with one stone. Ah well

I've souped different film stock in the same tank as long as they had the same development time without any problem. I can only thing that messing around during processing would be more hassle than dealing with them separately.
