I've just got one of these but there are 3 available manuals, 1952, 1964 & 1972. How do I tell which one it is and does it matter anyway? Mine is the one with the black knob and black spool.
Just looking at it seems a better design with the film clippy thing having teeth to hold onto the film rather than having some weird threading through arrangement which the essex had.
I might even manage to shoot a roll before the end of the year with any luck
