Was driving down the country road looking for road kill.

Looked over and spotted 2 cock pheasants fighting, 2 roe deer standing next to them watching. Then a hare hopped through the middle and a buzzard was sat feeding next to them. They were all in beautiful settings too.

AGHHHH!!!! Lesson learnt, always have camera.

Now I always have a camera with me but when I see something worth taking while Im driving down a country lane Ive either got a lorry bearing down behind me or nearest place to be able to pull in is about a mile away.
I think yours and my instances are called "Sods Law" Will
 
been there, done that. Had two roe fighting ~15 m off the road the other day- no camera. Had a perfect rabbit shot, afternoon light, rabbit with front paws up on the base of the tree he was ringing- no camera. I'll learn one of these days too. At the minimum, the camera plus a small tele stays in the car.

I had this today but with a landscape, the sea fog was half covering the power station & suspension bridge on the way to work. But like above i didnt have the camera or anywhere to stop :(
