Had YOU noticed what the famous Lyle's logo really is?

Foodies noticed that the iconic Lyle's logo is of a lion carcass surrounded by bees in a viral Reddit post on Friday. It's taken from a Biblical tale where Samson kills a lion and finds bees in the body.

I don't know what to believe now.
 
As opposed to modern food products where they just lie on the tin! Then you know that you have been stung (by the bees perhaps?). :)
