did photography influence modern vampire tales

Ok so its just a theory and I've not looked into the time lines but the typical vampire tale, do any of you think it might have been influenced by the Early pioneers?
The silver burning the skin? Leaving black marks, the sensitivity to light, the latent images, no reflection, creeping around dark rooms during the day.
Im sure bram stoker wrote dracula after the Early discoveries. The whole process must have seemed like black magic to the un initiated.

The novella The Vampyre (1819) was written 7 years before the first photograph (1826) so I woudn't imagine but references of Vampires can be found going back over 200 years before that

Were there any references to silver and light or burning in sunlight in that book? I understand folklore has told of the vampire for a bloody long time (pardon the pun) but how long has the classic tale existed where silver can kill them and daylight etc etc

Where does the wooden stake through the heart come in? I thought the silver bullet was for werewolves?

I think silver was considered a purification metal to bosh any evil stuff.
Steak through the heart? Hmmm probably what fox tablots wife wanted to do to him when he disappeared into his dark room when she wanted to go hat shopping or something like that lol

And there's the black cape that you would have hidden under with old cameras too...

I don't think you'd get far with steak through the heart. Too squidgy
