Yes
Just noticed on the cover it says 'Free 12 page event photography pullout'....
.
.
.
Er, no such pullout for me? (I subscribe).

Anyone else get it?

If it's a 'pull out' then it should be in the centre of the magazine, stapled to the rest of the mag, like a centre section. Will look when I go into town shortly.

Is an A5 insert supplied loose in the magazine.
Nope, it's A4. Front says 'The event photographers help kit : lighting, printing, shooting & selling' in red/white capitals.
Little use to me. Happy to forward it?

I received an email telling me...

The Event Photographers’ Help Kit -
Lighting, Printing, Shooting & Selling

Dear Subscriber,

Within the May 2009 issue of Professional Photographer, you should have received a FREE supplement. Unfortunately due to production difficulties we were unable to provide you with a print copy; therefore we are sending you a digital version.

Please click on the link below and you can take a look through the 16-page event supplement at your leisure online.

I was wondering about this too...not the first time a magazine I subscribe to has managed to forget to send the inserts!

doesn't it kinda suck that as loyal subscribers you're the ones missing out on the hard copy? :/

TBH Ive not really got any interest in it whatsoever. Just felt annoyed that I was shortchanged, and wondered if it was just an oversight or not.

Thanks for the link

Nice of them to send me an email. Not.

Mine is an A4 booklet, mainly adverts as pointed out above...

Main feature is on a printer buying guide.

Not much use to many, me thinks :gag:

Oh, sorry to have my pedantic cap on right now, but it has 16 pages :p;)

Yep it was in my copy - from WH Smith (who probably get the first batch off the press because of their clout). And it's not a lot of use so don't worry if you missed it.

True, but from what I've read it is only a brief summary of a few models and miss some of the most popular on the market (not particularly insightful in to the systems available IMO ;) - although I suspect that's who paid for the pull out)

thanks for posting it dd i was about to go out and buy it

it wasnt very good though...

No it wasn't was it - I only scanned it and thought - so what

I bought my subscription through Archant, and my email came from them not PP itself as such, perhaps that's why some of you didn't get it

If so - for Archant & for PP

It was in an A4 size.

The supplement was not as researched as well as it could have been, and I think PP have now realised this. There has benn some very bad feedback on it.
