On today and tomorrow (23/24 May '14). Plenty to snap away at but a) take a weather resistant camera and b) be prepared for a long wait for a tractor to pull you up the muddy grassy hill... Yup, in their infinite wisdom, they've parked people on a wet grassy slope and everyone has to be dragged out by the tractors. We had to be home relatively early so got there early. Good job we left when we did - from the pedestrian exit from the show proper to the exit gate for traffic only took us 20 minutes. A nice smile from Mrs Nod and a few kind words of sympathy to the lad who was organising the tractors (for some reason lots of people seemed to think that the parking area was all his idea and the slipperiness all his fault and were giving him grief) worked wonders and we seemed to be next in the queue. Bunged them a fiver for the drag up the hill - worth every penny - then took the car to the hand washers while the mud was still wet. They managed to get it sparkling for us - it needed a wash anyway!
