Hi all.

In a few weeks were going to the Bude area of the Southwest and I'm trying to get some locations together for Landscape photography. Ideally sunrise and sunset plus some coastal long exposures etc.

I know this area has some great locations but I'm just trying to get a list together before we go.

Appreciate any help.

Nobody answered this call for help. Try the Appledore area. Big sands, broke fences, sea, supreme sunsets. Have a wander round the golf course area and seaside at Northam Burrows. There's a years work for a good landscape photographer there.
 
If you want to do surfer/camper-at-sunset type shots, then Widemouth Bay just SW of Bude is good.

If you don't mind going a little further down the coast, then you get some nice sunsets at Polzeath (just round the headland from Padstow).
 
Loads of stuff round Bude for coastal sunsets (sun sets into the sea and rises over land).

I like the light over the sea after the sun has set and shoot that a lot.

Basically head either north or south and there are lots and lots of little bays which I like a lot more than the big ones (widemouth or summerleaze ect) because they tend to be sharper so you get more water movement than the very very flat widemouth.

Gimme a nudge if you like when you're about.
