Yes
I am not sure if this is the right place to put this but I require some assistance.
I have 2 rolls of Agfacolor ASA200 film from 1985 that I bought in Yugoslavia (yes that long ago) I had trouble getting the retail shops to develop them.
They were exposed in Venice and after all this time I would like to see what I got.

The film says it should be processed using AP70/C41.

Does anyone know where I might get these developed and printed.

I am aware after all this time they may be pants but curiosity has gotten the better of me.

C41 is standard colour negative process.

Anywhere that is still processing colour film should be able to do it for you.

If you want to have a bit of a better chance of success (high street developing quality is notoriously variable between branches) you might want to try a pro lab such as Club 35 (http://www.club35.co.uk/) as they will have a rigid and well run protocol for developing.
Plus the lab above only charge £6.60 for developing + 6x4 prints (or similar prices for scans etc) with no postage charge there (freepost) or back and their quick (usually a maximum of 4 - 5 days). I send all my colour neg work to them and they are excellent in their processing quality.

The thread in the film and conventional section linked is up to date and in it there are various recommendations for processing in the UK. Hope the results are good

Derek, do please get them developed, the sticky in the F&C forum should help, but it's quite likely that Boots could do it for you (just not as well); even some ASDAs will do it in an hour while you shop.

If you're getting a more proficient place to do it, tell them when the film was bought and exposed, and they might be able to make some adjustments in process. Expired film often works surprisingly well, but usually it's processed soon after taking. OTOH there have been several examples on the F&C forum of "found" films from charity shop cameras that have come out very well too, some even older than yours!

And when you're done, do please drop by F&C and tell us about it!

Thanks for the suggestions. I will see about getting them done this weekend.
From memory they are mostly snaps but I will scan and put some up if they turn out alright. It will certainly bring back some memories that's for sure.

Some places are wary of processing very old film because the emulsion can become detached or frill. this would contaminate all the chemical baths and tend to stick onto other people film, ruining them.
Though this is rare, some will not take the risk.
You could probably tank develop them yourself, but I do not know if you can still get the chemical kits at a reasonable price..
