Personally I use Ilford Ilfotec LC29 for black and white and Tetenal Colortec C41 for my colour films. B&W is a little easier as the temperature of chemicals is not as precise as with colour but I only use a bucket of hot water to get my colour chemicals up to temp and it works just fine so far.
