I was there this evening around 6pm and not long after, several other people with cameras appeared. Just wondering if it was anyone from here?
Not me, too far away.
A while back I did go down to a small woodland hide in Somerset to watch Herons & Egrets nesting and there was one other person in the hide who introduced himself to me ... turned out to be @Lez325![]()
If you'd been there over the weekend there was a group of us up there
I've bumped into people from here , one chap only lives 20 minutes from me, we go out togging fairly regular.
Not so long ago, I also got talking to a chap in a hide, it turned out we'd been following each other on Flickr and commenting on each other photos for quite a while, so always worth asking, its a small world really![]()
Did you shoot the sunrise on Saturday or Sunday at the Duke of Portland Boathouse? I was staying just outside Pooley Bridge and made it out for sunrise both days, and each time I drove passed the boathouse, there was between 5 and 10 photographers all lined up along the edge of the road![]()
I sometimes do a date search on Flickr to see if anyone else has uploaded from the same day as me, if there were alot of people at a given location. Can be interesting.
Yes sometimes I've looked back and gone 'it never looked like that!' but each to their own and all!Yes and 9 times out of 10 it makes you think either you are at fault and colour blind etc or they have the date set wrong in their camera and were actually there on a different day because the shots are so different!
Sadly, I only have a 10 year old RenaultI'll look forward to seeing some of your pics

That's quite a drive! I can't say that I took any fantastic photos, it was a holiday for both Jill and I and I didn't want to push my luck![]()
A little over 300 miles. Once you're on the motorway it's pretty plain sailing and you soon chomp through it. Haha it's tough at times when you are with others. It's a great break away none the less and the weather wasn't horrendous either.
Thinking of where to head next...
