I got close to watching but pussied out at the last minute! By the sounds of it it wasn't worth watching anyway.
 
its interesting. same techniques that stage hypnotists use to get the weak minded fools folk who might be susceptable to suggestion...

I can bend spoons, but tonights trick didnt work on me, i watched it around my familys home, and it didnt work on my brother either. Mum and Dad where to scared to try it incase they ended up staying stuck all weekend lol.

The video did make feel a tad weird though tbh.

Glad I didn't watch that programme, sounds like it was a complete waste of time. But some good is coming out of this, Derren Brown is becoming my role model in terms of being a ****** and I can use him in everyday conversation. Eg: "Oh gawd, my workmate's being a right Derren Brown today".
 
i actually find the way that he manipulates people to be rather unsettling, the lady with the giraffe for example...that is just finely honed skill at manipulation. Ive seen stage hypnotists before and always been impressed with what they do, but Brown takes it all to a higher level. Some people will have stuck, just like the stage hypnos who make peoples hands stick together to find their targets..

Neither me or the wife got stuck, but did feel pretty odd afterwards.
I like Derron though, he never claims to be magic and always says how easy it is to find out how to do stuff on the net.
I especially like the way he shows up mediums :)

I used to have respect for Derren Brown as he is very good at what he does however his lottery 'trick' and his 'stuck' in your chair trick are just ridiculous and a joke.

Unless he genuinely believed he could really get people stuck in their chairs (which he obviously couldn't) then I don't understand the point of his programme. He may have got rating this time but why would people bother watching him in the future after this farce.

I wrote Stone henge.

The picture was actually three Concentric Rings, in the style of Stonehenge. Ironically she was sitting at Stonehenge.

The rings was a set up though as he put adds in the major papers saying draw concentric rings. No idea how so many people come up with stonehenge though????
