I've been reading about controlling the DoF, after a couple of my first posts. Is there a way to estimate what the likely DoF is going to be for a shot ?
My camera, has a 4Mp sensor, a 10x zoom, not sure of the real focal lengths, I think it's something like 6 - 63mm (but that equates to 38-380 in 35mm format) and goes from f2.8 (f3.7 when zoomed) to f8.
