I'm in the market for a 27" monitor and have narrowed down my choice to between the above two monitors

The resolution of the U2713H is 2560 x 1440 and the P2715Q is 3840 x 2160

For PP work I guess the P2715Q would be better, but how does it fare for other work like using MS Word, Outlook and Excel?

Does anyone have any real world experience of the P2715Q that would sway my decision either way?

For PP, I'd get the U2713H as you can calibrate it at hardware and would most likely get better accuracy in colours / brightness / contrast.

The P2715Q would be more suitable for HD videos and games etc.

Resolution ain't all that once you get past 1440.. quality counts, and if you're serious enough to invest large amounts in a screen, it makes sense to get one that can be hardware calibrated.
