Just taken delivery of 2nd screen after yesterdays was rejected with the Green tint issue and to my great annoyance the replacement is identical to the 1st!

It's scandalous that such a large company can get away with a known widespread problem,ie Manufacturing defect like this.
This monitor is £570 not some cheap ****ty Argos special for £50:thumbsdown:

I have agreed to try a third one but if that's the same I will go back to my 22" HP which is no perfect but can at least display a white white.

My test pic on LR is a white church with brown door & roof tiles with blue sky behind.

Looking on with interest as I have this monitor on 'my want' list

What revision is it btw? The A00 i guess it is had lots of tinting issues but the newer A01 and A02 screens seem to have cleared up alot. Mines a A01 if that helps. Maybe your buying from a company with old stock?

It's an A01 but with a sticker over it from Dell saying A02.
I should add it's a "box opened" or refurbished as they call it but is not one sold with a fault such as a dead pixel, screen tint issue or colour bleed.
It's quite obvious though that there is something wrong with it that no manner of calibration will fix.
On my test the White is not White instead it looks like the church has been painted with "Apple White"

If the 3rd one is the same, that's it, i will take a refund and consider another option.

I got mine from NRG_it on ebay. They examine all of their monitors and state any problems and price accordingly. Their no problem monitors are a hell of a lot cheaper that the price you give above.

Menthel. That's where I bought mine from!

So you paid £570 from NRG_it for a non-damaged and checked monitor, the listing stated it was one of the ones without the green-tinge problem, and you still had an issue?

(Pity, after I saw their site I was wondering about getting some upgrades)

No,I didn't pay £570,that's the RSP.
Yes,I bought a non damaged and checked monitor.
NRG_it are very upfront with those monitors which have flaws, they are clearly in the category of "Tint issue" "Pixel issue" or "colour bleed issue" the monitor I bought was not in any of these categories.
The exact wording was Professionally Refurbished - 1 Year Warranty
The monitor may have minor superficial marks or scratches on the plastic casing/stand.
The screen itself is AS NEW and has no faulty pixels.

Yes, I still had an issue!

To be fair to Olly, I think he is honest and upfront about the monitors with problems and sells them with that warning.I think he runs a busy operation and by his own admission doesn't have time to check them all. If you were using these for anything other than photo editing you may not even have noticed the issue. He has been very helpful and sent another one out to me for delivery tomorrow (sat) he says he has tested it today and it is good.
I will update tomorrow...

Was about to buy one of these monitors from NRG_it myself, any luck with the third screen?
