I'm still looking for a new notebook and keep coming back to the Dell Precision M3880 with dual drive.
I really want a larger screen but can't find anything near my budget with a decent screen and speed.

Has anyone got a M3880 running win 7? I'd love to know you experience scores to see how the compare to my old Dell Studio

If anyone have any recommendations of alternate notebooks with greater then HD screen, good colour & dual HDD please let me know.

If you can eliminate the dual-HDD requirement then I'd definitely recommend the XPS13 or 15, both are excellent machines, powerful and QHD displays. I have the M4800 and although it is a complete powerhouse, it's exceptionally heavy and I missed out on the QHD as it wasn't an option, not sure if it is now?

I have an XPS15 9530 model with the QHD screen (bought through Dell Outlet). Once I really start working & concentrating the screen seems bigger than my Dell U2412M, however the one problem is that because it's so small/high res it's very hard to tell if an image is truly sharp or just looks OK at that size.

I'm running 10 which no longer has the WEI as it was deemed as not a true representation of performance. Would if I could lol

@Neilc28 how are you finding win 10?

I liked the experience score as a quick way of comparing pc in store.

Its fantastic, had a few issues with AMD drivers for the precision's FireGL, although the update for build 9926 is installing now so get to try some new things lol
