Dell Monitor

man, I thought the matte screen on my 2007 macbook pro was pretty nice... this is stunning.

Currently running this monitor off my lappy which is soon to be replaced with a pc, I am now so used to running two screens that I have ordered another for the pc when it comes:)

Please ignore below - I've sussed it out now.

I am a bit clueless with these things so a naive question:
I have this screen running off my laptop (Dell Latitude D820) with the laptop's screen disabled. I can duplicate the screen by turning the laptop display back on but can I run two independent screens? Idiot-proof explanations of how to do this very welcome.

Hi,

I have just been pointed to this thread from the talk equipment forum. I have read this thread and it looks like most people here think the 2209WA is a good monitor, so I am really tempted and it's within my budget. The problem I now have is that noticed the same seller on ebay is also selling a Dell U2410 24" which I have heard is also really good. It would really stretch my budget (my wife would get a MUCH smaller birthday present) but I could just about reach it with the help of a credit card.

Does anybody know if the difference in money between the £160 for the 2209WA and the £345 for the U2410 (which seems to be quite a bit cheaper than dells price) is worth it?
