Just considering purchasing a DELL 2007WFP monitor (S-IPS) primarily for photo editing, does anyone currently use one & if so how do you find it ?

Is 20" big enough for photo-editing or is 22/24 needed....I currently use a standard 17" 4:3 ratio monitor

thanks

Simon

I bought a Dell 2408WFP monitor to hook up to my Mac. I am very happy with it, although it took a couple days of tweaking the colour to get a neutral grey. It was too red out of the box. I don't have any calibrating hardware, so just created a colour chart in Photoshop and pushed the buttons until it looked right.

As far as size goes, bigger is better in my book.

I got a good price (I see it's higher now) and good service from these guys:

Thanks for the links/suggestions...to be honest I'm mainly looking at 20/22" inch screens, possibly a 24" at the largest...

The main 2 on my list at the moment are both S-PVA panels & get decent reviews for photo-editing:

the Lenovo Thinkvision L220X & HP LP2275W

The Dell 2007WFP has an S-IPS panel which is supposedly better than S-PVA, it's around £100 cheaper than the 2 options above too
