Deleted photos

I had a phone call earlier tonight from a friend who has deleted some photos off her camera .. which had some photos on that had not been saved ..:bonk: i know i know silly girl .. anyway she wondered if i knew anyone that might be able to recover the images. i said i would ask..


now the thing is i dont know at the moment what card it is. cf sd whatever... and what disc you would need to recover from these cards .

so my question is this . is there a certain disc for a certain card or could you get a disc to recover any card..:shrug:

hope i have given enouhg info " its all i know at the moment"



will my sandisk 3.2 version be ok.

I use Recuva, free download - just Google it, can be used from a usb memory stick or loaded onto the PC.
Recovered from SD & SM cards Ok. Never any problems.
When running it from the PC it will not let me recover from C: drive unless I log in as admin (Vista).

the photos are just personal but they are the ones you can not replace

I use the disc that comes with Sandisk cards - I think it can handle any card though - it's good, never had a problem with it. (Although I have only ever "tested" it, never used it for a real recovery)

Someone (Wail I think) was giving some discs away for a donation to TP in the for sale forum recently....
