Only really just noticed this but i appear to have "dirt" or debris somwhere in the camera (300D) This camera is old and has been very very well used indeed so i suppose a little bit is to be expected, but there appears to be loads of blemishes. Anyone have any ideas on how to ease this problem rather than getting a new camera? Cheers J

Contact Janice at Sensors-2-Go! Please don't, or you will need a new camera.

Sounds as if you have dust & more on your sensor.

Someone will come along in a moment and give you some sound advice. I had picked up some dust on my sensor last weekend and it showed up on loads of pictures. I spent ages cloning it out. What I did to clear it, was to select sensor cleaning in the menu of my camera and with the body cap off, and camera opening facing the ground, I gently puffed some filtered air from a rocket style blower and checked it. Fortunately, the offending dust disappeared. If that doesn't work, you will have to wait for some advice from the pros on here.

Hope that helps.

It does sound like dust on your sensor :( Have a look at Robert's sensor cleaning method in this thread

Looks like its "have a pop at Janice day" today!!! :D

I am never cleaning my sensor again. I would rather have to clone out spots on every photograph !! Although I never had a prob doing it with the sensor swabs for the previous couple of years. I will make sure Im nice and calm next time!!

I actually used a very very soft, dust free brush and its just fine now... cheers J
