Is it just me or bad news is happening every week or so. Its sad news and just think who has died this year already. This week alone we have had Keith Alexander and Kristian Digby. Both well known men and well liked by everyone.

Just came on to write this post then I see that Michael Foot has sadly died today. :(

Its very sad news and its happening almost weekly. :(

Never heard of them!

I don't think its any sadder that a "well known" person has, than anyone else.

I find public chest beating and weeping and wailing for those we've never met all a bit Princess Di....

I have to agree with Andy, I don't get all maudlin about people I've never met just because they were on the TV , there are probably 200 people dead today that were alive yesterday in the town I live in but I don't mourn them so why some guy who had a meaningless job on TV

I have to agree with Andy,
:D

Being famous has nothing to do with it. But you have to admit, if you watch there shows, and have spoke to them and grown to like them you still feel for them and there family. But like you are saying about all the other people who die everyday, if you dont know them, never seen them or even know there dead, how can you feel sad.

Are you saying you talk to the TV :cuckoo:;)

Since January of last year I have had..............

Me nan & grandad (dads side) me dad & an aunt (mothers side) all pass away.

Father was the youngest at 65yrs :(

My father is an ex prison officer & last year three other officers from the same
prison all died between 60 & 65yrs old.

If you are thinking of joining, dont bother.

The only celebrity death that has moved me in any way was that of Freddie Mercury but not in any huge outpouring of grief way, just feeling a little sad that someone with such talent should be taken too early.

With someone like Michael Foot we should be celebrating his life rather than mourning his death. He lived to a good age and why should I mourn someone that I didn't know. I can feel sympathy for people who have lost a loved one but not grief.

I agree to a certain extent but when I found out earlier this week that one of my favourite singers had died (Kate McGarrigle) I was absolutely gutted and a bit weepy.

According to the book (2008 end times i think it was called) during the last days of mans domination on earth we will see an influx of celebrities dying

the 7th sound of the 7th trumpet is getting closer maybe its even sounded :'(

he wasnt a TV, he just liked auto asphyxiation

Wasnt this the same that caused INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence to depart this world, or so the rumours say
