Are there ever any deals on Leica?

Looking at the SL

Digital Rev - £5154
RedDotCameras - £5299 (with free battery)
BHPhoto - £7336 (with taxes)

Saw it used recently on RedDotCameras in the mid £4k range.

It'd be wishful thinking that Leica goods might be affected by Black Friday, or January sales? :D

Yes I will sell the D750 and 85mm 1.8g shortly after I've settled with the Leica SL, got a shoot Friday night aim to use the SL. Then also a wedding on the 19th december, should use SL again then.

I will have 3 batteries and a m-to-l adapter for future lens :D

And I assume the Q will be used for group shots?

The Leica SL's an interesting one for me. It's undoubtedly great but from the images I've seen I wouldn't say it has that 'classic' Leica look (although I'm sure this is more likely due to the lenses) so will be interested to see your shots with it (y). The 90-280's supposed to be pretty special.

Have you considered the 50mm f0.95 <drool> ;)

Since I ordered the lens and camera, the lens has gone up £300 and the body £275.. :D from the same places of purchase

Gotta love it when this happens :) It's usually the other way for me :banghead: :lol:
