Hi guys,

I'm just wondering, should I be concerned about dead pixels? I notice a few of different coloured ones (white, r,g,b) in my photos but when I import them into lightroom, lightroom gets rid of them for me anyway. I shoot raw now never JPEGs, so not sure if I should go into the hassle of paying to get rid of my hot pixels as my warranty has now expired.

Thanks.

I personally really wouldn't worry about them unless you've got so many that they're ruining your photo's it doesn't sound like your at that level...

Ultimately take my 5D3 it's got some 23 million pixels on the sensor it's not exactly unreasonable to have the odd one that is defective ;) chances are that even if you sent it off for a new sensor that sensor could still have some knackered pixels straight from manufacturing
