The autofocus has stopped working on my 24-105 :'(

Does anybody know of a good service center with a quick turnaround, i need it back within two weeks for a trip to Japan

Any recomendations would be appreaciated
 
Fixation would be my recommendation. They've always sorted me out quickly. If it gets desperate, you could always hire one...
 
Colchester camera repair are quite fast and look to be within range if you wanted to take it in yourself.

As grumpybadger says, hire would also be a good backup if they say they cannot get it back to you in time.
 
Just taken the camera to Colchester Camera Repairs, diagnosis is a dead USM.

Cost £43 for the parts & £120 for the labour :eek:

And they will try to turn it round in 5 days
