Week 44 Old vs New

St Georges Chapel RAF Biggin Hill. This was built in 1951 to replace the earlier chapel destroyed by fire in 1946.
The pale brick blob to the left is the Memorial Museum, opened in January 2019, the idea of a contemporary building to wrap round and enhance the original chapel...don't think it was really thought out that well!
