No!

Clearly - nostalgia fest for me

Great film for the time, and we read the book at school back in the early seventies.

Absolutely
I keep meaning to drop by and have a look, but keep forgetting,
or I'm otherwise engaged.

Is it worth taking a look @ChasG ?

I am enjoying looking at the fashion, cars pubs etc

This is the colour TV series first shown in 2007.

All 4 half hour progs are still on iPlayer - worth an afternoon vedge with a glass or two IMHO

Ah OK I thought it was a new one,
I have feeling I may have seen it, in that case.
But I'll have a butchers later

Vaguely remember seeing that, but a lazy afternoon with a couple of glasses sounds good to me - might just give that a try.
The only problem I have is finding a free afternoon at the moment !!!

Are you sure it wasn't made and first shown around 1980? I remember it from when I was at primary school, and have it on DVD.

The first film I had nightmares about as a youngster...Then it was The Birds, then after that It was Psycho......

Just had a look on iPlayer and you're right, it's the series from 1981 with John Duttine
Oh well shan't bother then, it was OK at the time though :)

It was good at the time. It's being repeated now on BBC4.
Brings back memories of Blake's 7.

Part of the problem is that I'm watching on a 42" screen. We probably had a 20" screen back then and it hid the cardboard sets.

My son had a very small part in the BBC remake of this a few years ago so got to see some of it filmed - not watched the earlier ones, might go and take a look ;)
