Late last night I thought oh crap my 55-250mm is not broken as I had a filter on it, so I told the wife that I will dig it out of the bins this morning and was chuffed to see that it was the filter that was broken. So I sent my new lens back for a full refund, then took off the broken filter cleaned up the lens put on another UV and tried it out this morning, these are the shots, so the lens works ok. Thank god I put filters on all my lenses.
