I like the way the path leads you in and points you at the distant door. The dappled light in combination with the processing works nicely too.

Now you've given me an idea because we have a good door down the road. I'm struggling this week to think of something other than a local view.

This is a lovely shot and fits the theme perfectly. The plants at the bottom round this image off nicely.
 
Very rustic. I can'[t quite work out whether that is a false or real door. the colours and textures work very well. And finally, get well soon!
 
That door hasn't been used very much of late. Lovely light and shade. Hope you're on the mend soon.

Thanks folks, it is in the grave yard in town and is actually an old door to a tomb as there are about 6 of them. Thanks for the wishes, have to start another lot of steroids and antibiotics in the morning as it still won't shift.
