295/365 - Well I actually managed a lunch break today so I shot over the bridge to Southampton Docks where there was a troop homecoming parade - look who I spotted - HRH Princess Anne. :)

298/365 - Mediterranean Cruise Day 1 Sunday 25th Oct - Barcelona, Spain.

What a knackering day! Up since 2.30 AM to catch a 7.30 AM flight to Barcelona. Got on the ship at about 1 PM and had a quick explore before a 'light lunch' :lol: and an afternoon snooze! Spotted this 'fella' on the sports deck and I thought he might well be acknowledging the weather gods for me! :cool:

299/365 - Mediterranean Cruise Day 2 Monday 26th October - at sea.

We spent the day today relaxing aboard the ship whilst steaming from Barcelona to Naples. What a great sunset we had - funkied up a bit in LR!
 
That's really cool!
And you even got the smoke from Lost, I'd stay away if I were you :lol:

300/365 - Mediterranean Cruise Day 3 Tuesday 27th October - Bay of Naples.

Two shots today :).

The first shot is of a cameo carver shot in a cameo factory on the way to visit Pompeii. The second shot is of a lazy dog in Pompeii itself. I found Pompeii to be totally amazing. So much preservation. I could of easily spent the whole day there, but only had four hours, so it was back to the ship in the afternoon for a snooze! I've discovered cruises are bloody knackering - too many boozy late nights and early mornings! :lol: But I struggled on, like you do!

I went to visit Pompeii many years ago and the preservation work was going slowly, to say the least..............so it's good to see the authorities have at last got their act together..........it would be a shame to see this ancient city just left to get overgrown etc. It's a marvellous place.:)

301/365 - Mediterranean Cruise Day 4 Wednesday 28th October - Civitavecchia (Port of Rome)

Went into Rome today on a DIY tour on the train. What a great day! First stop was the Vatican City, where I shot this member of the Swiss Guard (Vatican Police). The Pope was making an address to the people, so that was an added bonus. We then went on to see The Tomb Of The Lost Soldier, The Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. This was my first visit to Rome, and will definitely be paying a return visit. See more photos on my flickr page.

302/365 - Mediterranean Cruise Day 5 Thursday 29th October - Livorno, Italy.

The Great Divide....Begging outside designer shops, Livorno, Italy.

Today the ship docked in Liverno so all the Yanks could go and see The Leaning Tower of Pisa. I didn't fancy that so I had a lazy day on the ship and then a quick wonder around Liverno town. It was nice not to be following a load of tourists around and to have time to take a photo, unlike when with family and friends. :cool: (Although I did cock this one up a bit with a little camera shake!) 303/365 - Mediterranean Cruise Day 6 Friday 30th October - Villefranche, France.

Today we awoke to find ourselves moored in the bay at Villefranche. After a tender ride ashore, it was a fifteen minute train journey to Monaco and Monte Carlo to admire the yachts and cars. :D See more photos on my flickr page.

307/365 - A cop-out shot today after my first day back at work :gag: - The Moon looked huge whilst I was driving home from work - this is a mega cropped shot of about 100%'ish.
 
Like the moon shot, back to work shot makes me feel bad for you lol.

Looks like you had a great and interesting cruise around the med :)

Stand out shots for me are 298 - composition is super and colours gorgeous

300 - Dog asleep shot again is fantastic composition and texture

303 is a great landscape lovel light and colours
