Dave's 365

Before I was togging I used to think they looked like something geeks had. Now I think they look so cool and bags of fun, think I want one too.:geek:
 
Nice shot Dave, the old Praktica, did I tell you the story about the Praktica I left on top of my car? If not I will enlighten you one day with it.:lol:

289/365 - Stupid isn't it? A new version of a lens comes out and suddenly the lens it replaces is a load of crap!

I've been reading various sites and forums about the VR on the 'old' 70-200 VR being crap, so I thought I'd test mine.

This was taken at 200mm, 1/10 sec, f/5.6, ISO200 hand held. Looks OK to me! :D

As with any thing techie, people want/expect new to be better and all of a sudden what they had is no good. Looks fine to me too

290/365 - Dusty oh Dusty...

A strange day today. I went out pretty much all day running around doing stuff without the camera :cuckoo: so didn't I get anything. Tonight out of despiration for a shot I decided to shoot the cat, and for some reason stuck on the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 - a lens that's been in my bag unused for some time as I've been preferring the Sigma Dirty Thirty. Wow! - I'm impressed again by this lens - this is a about a 110% crop :)

You didnt miss much dave, mark didnt make it either, i went to Micheldever Wood and did not have a good morning, poor light etc, got a hand full of shots. The lens ypu used is sharpe, its an excellent shot, well done at the 11th hour

293/365 - had a mega busy day today so only managed a quick shot of a misty view in the Cotswolds on my way to a meeting. Processed in LR to try and make it interesting!
