274/365 - Netley Castle.

I went for a walk along Netley Shore in my lunch break and came across this place, which is now some sort of home. Thought I'd practice my B&W skills :)

275/365 - Brrrrr....Autumn!

Got home today and was felt cold! Off out for a curry later so that'll warm me up! :D

Day 275...........great shot there Dave - very apt for the time of year..........................unfortunately it's reminded me that my garden is ankle deep in leaves which need raking up:) Thanks for that:D

Nothing wrong with autumn, or the cold!

Like the shot and pp.
Thanks

Very good processing. A good autumn picture.
Cheers too Lisa :)

276/365 - Agony!

I went up to the Royal Armouries Museum on top of Portsdown Hill today with Andy Fozzy and spotted this detail on an old Italian historic cannon (gun, not camera!) Shot with on-camera SB800 bounced off wall to left.

Not keen on yesterdays shot, but today's is fab, the very definition of 'Agony'.

Was that Fort Nelson, or is that a different museum?

277/365 - I did a charity 30 mile bike ride through The New Forest today. Here's a shot of my work colleague Avril enjoying a big hill!

278/365 - Colours of Autumn

I've been stuck in at home today with the dreaded lurgy so just grabbed this with the 70-200 out of the lounge window.

279/365 - Spider bokeh :D

Well I'm still stuck in with the dreaded lurgy so another quick grab from the garden, but with a new 'old' lens that arrived today - Nikkor 28-70 f/3.5-4.6. Not bad bokeh for £35 :D

On a bum note the PC has stopped working so trying to do everything on a crappy 4 year old laptop that takes an age to process anything in Lightroom :bang:

That is lovely bokeh Dave, I thought you might have used the 70-200 from the back door. :)

Thanks Jonny. I'm quite impressed with this lens for the money. It's got a 9 bladed aperture that gives it some nice bokeh and will also give me 18 point sun stars! I got it to try out the 28 (24) - 70mm zoom length before I get the Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8
