253/365 - The Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth.

I nipped out with Andy Fozzy and Merc tonight for an hour to get some shots of the tower. We also met another TP'er from up north - Brocks. :)

Nice shot of Gunwharf, looks great at night, I planned to revisit the 'pub' to get another shot myself ;)

Nice sunset :)

It was stunning up here last night. I was driving, but had my camera with me as i always do, but by the time i had got to where i was going its was all over. I couldn't stop as i was on my way to collect Caitlin from Gymnastics and was short on time :bang:

That was taken on your phone!? Never seen a phone pic come out that nice!
Thanks Lisa, it's not so good viewed any bigger than this though!

Yep, know the feeling Chris, that's happened to me more than once on my way to work with some lovely sunrises! :bang:

the 'easy' shot!

Easy or not.............great colours, good use of dof, well composed...........I like it. I wish all my photos were this "easy"

Anyway..........thought you were going to the movies:lol:

Very good Schärfenverlauf ( dunno the english word for it ).
Schärfenverlauf: the two tomatos are sharp, the more you look to the right the more blury it is.

256/365 - I had a good day at a Yak & Russian aircraft fly-in at Popham Airfield today with Julian AKA Shrubmonkey. Here's one of my favourites.

Great angle Dave, gives it that 'toy' look. These Yak's were fantastic aircraft. My shot of the day will be different ;) finding it hard to choose.

257/365 - Road Over River.

Here it is normal size - looks a bit better smaller as there's a bit of camera shake. Does it work? I'm not sure........

258/365 - Roses. A quick filler from the garden taken with 70-200VR + 1.4TC, 240mm, 1/10th @ f/4 ISO200. Gotta love VR :D

Love 258!

I think 257 works, but I don't personally like it.

I could see the effect from the shake, but the picture still "works" I think, I have seen some people even try and get that effect through PP!

I think that same shot in colour, just as the sun is going down (or coming up), with the sun on the right of the picture, with no starburst effects would give you a cracking result!

On a tripod with say a 3 second exposure.

I mite even attempt that shot lol! Where abouts is it?

Thanks for the comments Luke. It is a location I want to shoot again - I just came across it the other night quite by accident whilst having a walk. The sunrise idea sounds good as the sun should rise right above the trees in the background. :D

259/365 - 134

I went out tonight with the intention of getting a fabulous sunset, only to find that the great location I found on Google Earth wasn't accessible :bang:

So I ended up doing some urban stuff around a row of garages!
