248/365 - I had a day out with Julian (Shrubmonkey), Alby (Ajophotog) and Andy (Andy_Fozzy) today at the Hawk Conservancy, Great day with a great bunch of guys!

I'm really pleased with this shot taken with the 70-200VR as it's a heavy crop and doesn't suffer too much from it - what a lens! (Hi Jonny! :lol:)
 
Great shot Dave, looks as good as it did on the camera LCD :)

Reckon these birdies were the hardest subjects to shoot, so even more kudos to you for such a cracking shot
 
Dave Dave Dave.... I've got a shot Identical to that on my flickr you copycat It is very slightly further away from the bait so I claim it was my shot first :lol:

Shot with D300, 105mm Micro lens, Raynox DCR-250 with a Kenco 25mm extension tube and Kenco 1.4x TC! :eek:

Wow! That's amazing Keith. No way I'd have the patience for that - mine was tested just trying to get the focus right on this shot! (DOF was minuscule!)

Wonderful framing and has a nice gritty feel to it. I can't help thinking what it would look like in B&W though (but thats just me :D)

251/365 - Phew! I was in panic mode having not taken a shot today until a few minutes ago when I spotted this unusual flower bud against the kitchen wall. I think the colours work quite well. :)
