239/365 - On The Zip-Wire!

A quick shot today of my son Joe having fun on the zip wire! We were meant to go to the beach today but the weather wasn't really beach weather, so we went with friends to the local park instead. :)
 
I like no 238, this kind of photo.
It´s a every day picture in colour but the b/w processing adds some specially atmosphere to it.

240/365 - Abstract Fountain Detail

I shot this in Bristol while waiting to go and collect my minty Nikkor 70-200 VR f2.8! :love: Alas, didn't really shoot anything worth posting with it as just messing around and testing it. My face = :D
 
D3 or D3x ? (don't know what a D3 goes for, but a D3x must be around £5k) Wow, you won the lotto?!?!?!?!?

241/365 - Gabby.

Today I went to an all day birthday barbeque and got to use the 70-200VR in anger. I'm just blown away by the quality of the images from this lens. I know this is not a technically great image but I think it has a certain cute factor - note the shoe! Awwwww...!
 
Yep a sharp shot and bagso cuteness Dave, that lens looks pretty damn special too, great bokeh. :thumbs: See you tomorrow ;)
 
Great isn't it :D
Just being able to get sharp results wide open with that bokeh is awesome IMHO.

243/365 - A simple rose. I'm still blown away by the quality of the 70-200VR, I can't seem to think creatively! I just want to snap away with this lens and then look at the quality! :cuckoo: :lol:

This was shot at 200mm 1/160 sec at f2.8 ISO400.
 
Like the moto X shot, bikes are not really my thing, but it's a great capture. I was just reading a photo mag and it mentioned a new Nikon 70-200 lens coming out in Nov, but at £2k notes. Not sure what you paid, but looks great whatever :D

I think I did the exact same thing, and still do.
These antics are probably getting in the way of proper photography...

Thanks Julian - I didn't pay anywhere near that! Not sure the new lens is a massive improvement on DX - just a newer version of VR and not as much vignetting on FX. Not sure if the new ones come in white though!
