Dave's 365

Good HDR Dave. The problem with multiple exposures is the cloud movement, makes it look a bit blury, but nothing you can really do about it. As JD says, use the AEB 3 exposures, not relly much benefit in using more, plus it takes ages.

Cheers Julian, I might even use a tripod next time!

Yes Sir, of course Sir, oh great HDR one! (I think I've just been told off by the Master!)

I'm warming to it - it just doesn't look natural to me I suppose. It's too 'in yer face'! But no matter how I moved those sliders, it just wouldn't happen for me!

:lol::lol::lol:

(I'm surprised you're still talking to me!!!)

You'll get there mate.
What am I saying, looks to me like you're already there :D

Thanks Lisa, yes me too! :D

Hey Dave you old Dark horse, so you got the £1 10 stop did you :D Cracking shots Mate ;)

Thanks Marc, Julian.

Marc, e-bay - item number: 170364342033. Offer a quid and you'll get it! Make sure you shoot in raw as it gives a green colour cast which you will need to process out (unless you like the 'nuked' look!)

Dave, I don't know how to say this, but I'll just go for it.

You are getting ripped off on the 10stop front. I'm only after buying 4 from a motor factors for £1.96. Hate to be the bearer of bad news...

218/365 - Windswept!

A friend of mine managed to get the loan of a RIB tonight so we shot across The Solent to Cowes to sample the apres sail atmosphere. The weather was minging! Here's a fun shot of Sarah and two of her daughters, Amy and Suzie, sat of the back of the boat, getting rather wet!

I love the colours of the sunset in #217; really vibrant. I like it :)
Thanks Kay :)

Love 218 Dave, great expression on her face. You can almost feel the movement of the boat.
Thanks Marc - yes, a great expression - she is very photogenic, but like all kids, she won't have her photo taken (normally!)

219/365 - Hmmmmmmm...a bit of a failure! :dummy:

My first attempt at star trials but there were only two stars out tonight! :bang: I'll try this again sometime I think!

In case anyone's interested, 1,646 sec @ f16 ISO200 :D

I think you are right Dave and this one is not doing it for me either Mate, but you need these moments to build character, you next shot will be a corker for sure ;)

Lovely shot Dave, I wouldn't fancy going up in that kite  You could have dragged that cut grass out of the shot though, a little bit of rare crit from me there Mate ;)

Cheers Alby, yep you're right about the cut grass. No excuse really either as I had to wait about 15 minutes to get a clear shot without any other people milling around the plane :bang:

**** Original edited to remove cut grass, as I was losing sleep over it  ***

215 / 216 / 217 all work for me Dave

And gotta agree with Alby about the cut grass onthe plane shot. Its usually me that misses these thing when i'm taking the picture as i concentrate too much on the point of focus and not enough on the perhiphery (sp?)
