109/365 - Bluebells! They're out at last! I've been keeping an eye of this woods for the last couple of weeks although I think the best is still to come. :)

Lovely shot. Noticed lots of bluebells out today, so I hope to be shooting some soon, they are so photogenic.

Very nice, I love bluebell pictures :)

I noticed they were out on Friday. I'll have to get out and take some pictures too :)

I love the bowling alley shot - you're right, a pin sharp shot wouldn't have created such a good effect, and the angle sets it off perfectly.

Looks as though the Doreset meet was good fun. I like the colours and tranquility of the Bat Hole piccie.

The bluebells look great - and are actually blue. Where did you take that?

Jean

111/365 - Sunset over Southampton Water. I was knackered tonight after driving to Coventry and back for a short meeting and didn't really feel like doing a photo today, but forced myself to get out with the camera - glad I did now! :D

Just catching up - again :)

Bluebell shot is nice - i always like to see nice bluebell shots especially if they have some foreground interest as well

Yesterdays was well worth forcing yourself to go out for as well :)

Great sunset Dave. Similar to Jean , I like the stark contrast of Fawley refinery from both Southampton water and the New Forest. Have it down as a shot for my 365.

112/365 - Struggling again for ideas today - had a busy day and didn't have anything planned for a shot but saw this leaf as I stepped out of the car tonight and had a eureka! moment (well, maybe not quite but it'll do) :)

not bad for an "Is Mos Operor" shot (Latin for "It Will Do" - we have that as the motto over one of the engineers in trays at work and have never told him what it means :D )

113/365 - My BR-2A reversing ring arrived today so here's a shot with it with the Nikkor 28mm f2.8 AI-S reverse mounted on the camera. Used an SB800 flash fired remotely to light it. I like! :D Not as sharp as I would like as I had the camera on 800 ISO. Duh! :bang:

I really like the rain idea Dave, judging by tomorrows forecast though, no need for man made rain :(

The last 2 days have not been good here either, lets hope for sparks of inspiration over the weekend/next week ;)

I love the Southampton water picture!

The leaf is really interesting too, I like the unusual shape :)

115/365 - I've been reading Joe McNally's book 'The Hot Shoe Diaries' over the last week or so (great book, thoroughly recommended) and it's inspired me to use my two Speedlights more often, so here's a shot today of my friend's son on a roundabout using the SB800 to freeze the face whilst the background still has the motion blur :) Shame I chopped the feet off but I still like it!

That's excellent as usual Dave, I'm adding a flash to my list of camera equipment to buy.

I don't see a problem with slightly chopping the feet, for me it's not the main focus of the picture.

That's great Dave, I love the sense of movement (and fun!) in this one :)

Excellent, great use of flash, wish I could justify one, but will have to wait until I find a new job.

Thanks JD. It was the moody look I was going for. Got loads of more interesting shots to put up so keep an eye out for them in the glamour section ;)
