Dave's 365

great shot, the HC is very close to me, been there a few times, just wish I had a lens to do the place justice.

A lovely original shot for day 86, I like the use of shallow DOF.
The eagle shot is striking.

90/365 - The very rare Mickey Mouse Flower! :D I love it now the lighter evenings are here. Quite often when I get home from work I put the kettle on, grab my camera and have a mooch in the garden with the macro lens. I find it very relaxing after a full day's work and a hour drive home, so you can expect to see a lot more macro shots of flowers (sorry Fabs!) and bugs in my 365 :lol:

91/365 - Bursledon Windmill. This is only just up the road from me but I only discovered it last year (been living here for 10 years!). Wanted to get a nice sunset behind it but its such a tight spot I could only get it all in with the Sigma 10-20mm at 12mm!

Your Macro Goodness again!!! :D

I'm loving the windmill shot, I killed a few insects on the way home tonight, want to take a picture of the bonnet of the van??
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Lovely shot Dave the colours and DOF work well :thumbs:
Thanks Chilli

Your floral shots are superb, nice choice of DOF too, the muscari one would be my favourite out of the 3. Unusual angle on the windmill.

94/365 - I saw some bluebells in the neighbours garden this morning so I thought I'd better check out the local bluebell woods. Alas they are not out yet but I did see this fungi growing on a fallen tree. I love the colours and pattern in this shot. :)

95/365 - I thought I'd give the macro shots a rest today so I went and explored the old part of Southampton. It surprised me how much history is left in Southampton. I'm born and bred so it goes to show we sometimes don't realise the wealth of riches on our own doorstep! Here's a shot of the Tudor House reflecting the modern architecture around it. This house was built in the late 1400's and I'm amazed it escaped being flattened by the bombing that destroyed most of the surrounding area during the war.

Awwww No macro?

I really like the way there is both the old and the new in this picture, it is true that you sometimes don't appreciate what is around you. Since I started, (only 10 months ago) I've began to realise how beautiful my wee country is, probably why I take so many scenic shots!! :D
