Dave's 365

Just catching up on the last few days love the sailing shot and as has been said looking forward to more as the weather improves, nice light trails too they work much better on unlit roads all the motorways around here are well lit. That is a cracking macro what was the working distance on it any idea what the magnification was bet it was a bit of a nightmare to focus, sorry for all the questions but I like macro stuff :lol:

Thanks Sean. Don't expect too many sailing shots because as the weather improves I'll be out sailing too! (Hmmmm....might need to get weathersealed camera...**thinks** - Nikon D3!)
I'm quite pleased with the light trail shot, first time I've done it. I reckon a lit motorway would look good in misty weather.
According to Wikipedia, the magnification was 2:1. The pen was about 10mm from the lens I guess. I had to focus by moving the camera back and forth.

49/365 - Absolutely no enthusiasm to get the camera out today so I took this quick self portrait, heavily lit and processed to try and make 'me' a bit more interesting. I'm not this bad in real life, honest! :cuckoo:

Great shot there Dave I used to love my Xbox, but the thing gets very little use now as I spend so much time reading photography tutorials etc. online dont know if they are helping but it seems a more productive way of passing what little spare time I have.

51/365 - Natural weathering has just exposed this ancient sand carving in the cliffs at Barton. Historians are hailing it as the greatest archaeological find of the century. ;)

Barton Cliffs are full of surprises! ;):lol: Great find!:D

Really enjoying your 365 Dave, keep it up! :thumbs:

Yet another great shot. Who would of thought Barton would hold all this history, apart from from the old folk who live there.:D

Now I know why you had white knees and chalky fingernails Dave :P

Haven't looked in for a while Dave but, as I've come to expect, some cracking pics. I especially like the sailing one and the macro!

Not sure about the self-portrait - shouldn't that carry some kind of health warning??

Keep 'em coming :clap::clap:

Yet another awesome image Dave. Must confess, I wish I had time to do a 365, never know maybe next year

53/365 - Went out and about with the camera this afternoon with a friend and ended up at Porchester Castle. Had a great day and saw amongst other things a woman walking her pet Raccoon on the beach! :shrug: I'll post those shots in the Animals section later.

Great shots Dave,, funny was considering going to Portsmouth this weekend :) I have Porchester and the Spinnaker tower down to do too

2 Cracking shots there Dave the Spinnaker Tower looks great first time I've seen or heard of it cheers for that :thumbs:

Now I'm off to find the shots of the woman walking her Racoon :lol:
