ive read the various posts on this and just wondered if I've understood the requirements properly.

I know to obtain the license you've got to have had a number of shots published in regional or national papers.

Do they have to be sports photos?

Due to the charity work I do I've had quite a few published in National and regional papers. And even managed to do a royal shoot with the Duke & Duchess of Wessex which probably counts for b****r all as there was a Reuters tog there as well?

Obviously most of the papers have never acknowledged the photographer, only the charity ( lesson learnt! , but I have all the originals and acknowledgment from the charity's PR lady.

I'm assuming because my names not on the print and not acknowledged in the paper that they probably won't count?

You are currently a long long way from qualifying. That does not mean you can never get one. Plenty of material in talk photography Just search!

I try to update the info as and when I get it.. They where quite adament that womens football doesnt count.. However this was pre womens super league... But as any football action counts including junior football league but only male..... then I dont see why a super league would make a difference.. although it is a sexist rule..

I will try to get a definite answer this morning..
 
Kipax, for some reason when I tried to get on there the other day it wouldn't show up.

Although I was using my phone at the time (needed an update...again), and I can see it fine now.

Apologies for the post as all the info is already there. o_O
