Quick one.

Time lapse at DataCo covered games, is this a no no or possible?

As technically they are just images

Only ask as I've an idea :-)

Wouldn't the same rules still apply? The images would still show action from the game in the images?
Although, in one way - it could be classified as 'moving image' - so then you might be regulated under the TV-deal regulations?

And isn't there something on the DataCo License about not taking a sequence longer than X amount of images in X amount of time to be published??

Think I remember reading something about sequence shots also when cameras started featuring video DataCo tried to ban them didn't they?

On the accreditation pass it states " Max of 45 photos per 90 minutes "
You won't get much of a time lapse from this :-)

So who actually has a coipy of the most recent DataCo rules?

Please scan if you can and make available (or is that against DataCo ;))

Seems a funny kind of thing with regards rules it would seem

There could possibly be something in sending some of the images I guess from a time lapse depending on the way the game goes I guess to so it could be worth trying anyway

Always on the lookout for something different

That's to send, not take

True - but lets say you take 300 images, which would get you to about a minute of time-lapse (at 24-28fps).
You could still only send/use the 45 images??
And isn't there also a rule about 'sequence' of no more than 5 images of certain situation in couple of seconds, for example a celebration/scoring a goal.

not sure on the sequence one

I've sent possibly more than 5 in the past before

It's funny how there are so many questions about the DataCo rules.

Hear different things up here aswell and people always pushing them

Clubs seem to have rules on top aswell of does and don't which can end up being frustrating

I've got a feeling that that was a rule that Dataco tried to implement and got told to ****** off during the dispute at the beginning of the season. It's certainly not in their current T&Cs.
