Worst nightmare realised,
my CF card just completely failed yesterday just after the B+G had left the church, so all the photos from that camera cannot be accessed. I do have some from the 2nd camera but not as many, and none of the Bride and her father walking down the isle.

The card cannot be seen in any of the cameras or through card readers!!

trying to find a good data recovery company, but a lot seem to be hit with overcharging scandals, etc, has anyone had to use one and if so who would you recommend??

Just because the disk doesn't show dosent mean it can't be seen .

There are plenty of decent data recovery program's, I have 3 on the PC, 2 of them free,
Try PC inspector smart recovery (free download).
But mostly, don't panic.

As stated dude, don't fret. It's only scene circumstances you can't recover yourself. Follow the instructions I posted and fingers crossed u'll be fine

Based in burnley, lancashire, years ago i had a corrupt card but the sandisk software go the images back, this one just will not be recognised at all by anything, almost as if the control chip has failed in the card!!

What os are you on? Mac or windows

windows and ZAR is not working it see the card as 0bytes and will not access it

if the card can be detected , i may be able to get something back for you, i had a card that said it was unformated and managed to recover all the images i needed from the card. the offers there if you want it

I live in Blackburn mate and may be able to recover the data also. You can bob over with it and e can have a go or I work in Accrington if you fancy dropping it off for me to have a look at

looks like the card is just not being detected at all, which is still why i think its data recovery company time - hey ho i think i can write it off on tax though lol, vettahead, thanks for the offer, perhaps pm me and if there is anything then that would be brill, i just do not want to loose what is on there, wedding client and all that - eep
