I have a USB HDD belonging to my Father. A problem with his old PC corupted the drive.
I have been round in circles trying to identify some decent reasonably priced recovery software.
A trial of Knoll-on-Track software showed there were files to recover but thy want £70 a year !! (yes a year one off maybe but only for a years use nope !)
Can anyone recommend some software ? I don't mind paying but knowing it works first would be useful. I tried one freeware package and it failed to find the drive !!
