hi all just trying to get out of manual and was just wondering if there was any software that overlays the pic data while you are viewing the pic full screen, just using the ap priority for now ,i take one in auto mode then switch to A on my d90...im finding that i either take one slightly better than auto or massively worse, just wondering by looking at each pic with the data overlaid would give me guidance on where im going wrong, hope this makes sense thanks guys

What software are you viewing them with, as most software allows you to see the data without overlaying it on the photo.

Nikon View NX2 which is a free download from Nikon will show all the details when you view the photo.

Another freebie is Faststone. To see the exif information, you just move your cursor to the right of the picture viewing screen and an information box pops out.

The nice thing about Faststone is that you can also use it for batch processing; resizing, watermarking etc.
