Day 29 and start of another week. This week I set myself a theme of shutter speed. Whether it be slow or fast. So heres the first one of the week

Light spring

darren...serious good start to the year... some very good shots in there. hit and miss with the models, AND i'm not a fan of marmite.. :P ... like the light spring.. are we going to see anything painted with light?

Cheers Lee mate... I used my light fishing tip for the light tied on a short piece of rope. Shutter speed was 8 seconds and A was about F22.

Cheers Samuel. I wasn't fussy on one or two of the models either.

What you mean light painting ? Drawing ? well I was/am going to try in before the week is out. I just want to get another colour first.

Went for a fast shutter speed today 1/400 sec...This pound coin was spinning then about to drop

Still going strong I see :). Feet creep me out I'm afraid :( liking the pheasant claw though! Well done on the panning shot btw. :) that's definitely on my list of things to try! What kind of shutter speed did you use (if you don't m ind me asking) and was the car going particularly fast?

Thank you very much. I am finding it hard work sticking to the themes but that was the whole point of it, as I never stick to anything.
The car was doing about 20-30 mph and I was using a shutter speed of about 1/30 sec.

Hi, Darren, your doing well with this 365!

Some good photograps, I won't comments on the all but will look to keep an eye out for ti as I'm doing a 365 as well and realise after such a short period of time how hard it is!

Anyway, I do like yor product photographs and #8 and #39 stand out for me.

Cheers and keep it up.

BTQ, what ju jitsu system do you train in?

Thank you very much for your comment. I'm finding it hard to stick to the themes I'm setting myself.

I used to train in Goshin Ju-jitsu. Became a black belt a few years back. Had falling out when going for my second dan and finished.
 
This week I have set myself a theme of Still lifw so here is my face stab at it.

Hi, Darren, days 43 and 44 are a bit dark?

I like the composition of day 43 and the shadows work well.

Day 45 is a nice one - I've done these myself and really like them.

I like the contrast between the new and old wire and the withered leaf.

For me, it's a bit too close and I'd like to see a bit more depth, that is, a bit of detail in the background. I'm sure you could boost the colours a bit..

Thankm you for the comment and I've taken it on board and as gone and reeditted 43 and 44 but as I'm back in house I cant do anything about 45 .
